Who hasn’t daydreamed of visiting California? From the sandy beaches to the wild national parks and the more boisterous cities. California is the undisputed iconic state that outlines the American life – and San Francisco is flawlessly positioned within the North for those who want to discover beyond the Golden Gate Bridge. However, what can anyone expect? Everything and Anything and: from attractive, wild beaches to delightful, sun-soaked vineyards.

We’ve selected the six best things you can do in Northern California to enjoy your Cali adventure.

  1. Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park lies in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. It’s famous for its giant, prehistoric sequoia trees, its Tunnel View, the iconic vista of gigantic Bridalveil Fall and the stonework cliffs of Half Dome and El Capitan. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, and lodging in the Yosemite Village. Not excluding the Ansel Adams Gallery and the Yosemite Museum, with prints of the well-known black-and-white sceneries of the area.

Yosemite National Park is only a three-hour drive from downtown San Francisco. It’s rugged, wild, and utterly charming. You can either hike through sequoia trees, cascade down granite cliffs or witness waterfalls. Furthermore, you could also kayak through the Merced River, which drifts through the Yosemite Valley, which is also one of the most accessible regions of the National Park. Even in the most prevalent spots such as the Yosemite Valley, it’s easy to see why the park is world legendary.

  1. Napa Valley

While Yosemite offers a true wilderness adventure, Napa Valley allows you to get in touch with classic California communities and also taking your taste buds on a journey of a lifetime. Napa Valley is home to most of the world’s top vineyards and is a paradise for foodies. It has been proven that the people of Napa are specialists in enjoying the good things in life, and they are ever willing to let you sample their easy-going, sun-soaked way of life. You can take trips of distinctive vineyards that differ from castles to cave wineries and quirky architectural gems such as Quixote – one of the prominent wineries within the region.

  1. Big Sur

California is renowned for its coastline, and it does not get any more dramatic and remarkable than the Big Sur area of central California. The ideal surf spots, concealed coves, and rural coastal communities, alongside the Pacific Coast Highway, make it a perfect road trip terrain. Hike along the cliff paths as the waves run into you before taking in far-reaching vistas from coastal cafés. If you can yank yourself away from the coast, try to explore the Los Padres National Forest which is nearby, and it’s very tall redwoods.

  1. Point Lobos State Reserve

The shoreline of California isn’t all about the sandy beaches: move South along the coastline to the Point Lobos State Reserve and experience some of the best water-based escapades that California provides in a secure area that’s filled with wildlife. Take your scuba and swimwear and spend your time diving and snorkeling within the warm waters of the marine reserve or move out in a kayak to explore this patch of California’s central coast. Back on dry land, the park is home to several great nature trails where you’re sure to meet various wildlife that calls the park home. Oh! And best of all, you can go whale watching. Like, what more can you possibly want?

  1. Monterey County

One of the main problems with driving towards Monterey County through the Pacific Coast Highway is that you will want to stop your car every 10 minutes as the coastal road discloses gorgeous view after gorgeous view. If you finally make it to Monterey County, which is on your way to both Big Sur and Point Lobos State Reserve, you will be compensated with a selection of seaside towns, with Carmel and Monterey being the two most prevalent picks.

  1. Muir Woods National Monument

There is no reason you shouldn’t visit these prehistoric woodlands – it’s virtually on your doorway! These Towering redwoods date back over the 1000 year. They’re the tallest living things you can find in the universe, and they offer the perfect shade for evading the leafy fall strolls or summer sun. While you cannot bike the various trails of the park, the close Mount Tamalpais State Park has several adrenaline-pumping directions that come with panoramic sights of San Francisco and the beautiful Bay area.

Conclusion

California is widely known for its natural essence, beautiful scenery and wildlife reserves. Traveling is a part of education. Come to an experience California and enjoy the beautiful view.
